Job summary

Crunch Fitness - Fit Fusion, LLC is hiring a Kid’s Crunch Attendant to care for children while members work out, ensuring safety and a positive childcare experience. You will greet families, register children, and support a friendly atmosphere in the gym.

Responsibilities include engaging children with games and crafts, coordinating with parents, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. CPR/AED certs required within 30 days of hire; childcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Childcare experience or babysitting experience required.
• Strong communication and excellent customer service.
• Reading and writing skills required.
• Service‑oriented environment experience preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Certifications, as local/state laws require.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a smile.

• Provide consistent interaction with children.
• Initiate games and arts & crafts projects.
• Bottle-feed babies following parental direction.

• Answer childcare phone courteously.
• Communicate information regarding children to parents/guardians.
• Know and follow all policies, procedures and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

The Kid’s Crunch Attendant will allow our gym members to comfortably enjoy their workout knowing that their child is being safely cared for. Kids attendants are focused on providing a positive childcare experience to Crunch members.

• Greet all members & guests with a smile.

• Provide proper registration and check-out of children & parents.
• Watch and care for children to ensure their safety.
• Provide consistent interaction with children.
• Initiate games, arts & crafts projects
• Bottle-feed babies following parental direction.
• Keep children calm.
• Clean and sanitize toys.
• Keep working area free of sharp or harmful objects.
• Be courteous in answering the childcare phone.
• Communicate information regarding children to parents/guardians.
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Childcare experience and/or babysitting experience needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Proficient reading and writing skills.
• Experience in a service-oriented environment preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Certifications, as local/state laws require.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 10 lbs. on occasion.
• Needs to be able to stand, bend and squat with frequency.
• Able to climb and hang decorations when needed.

Reporting Structure

• Reports directly to the Assistant General Manager.
• Works in conjunction with gym level team.
