Job summary

Channel Islands YMCA in Ventura, CA is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to plan, supervise and implement childcare programs for before/after-school, summer camps, and special care breaks. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to state licensing guidelines.

The role requires youth program leadership, scheduling, and collaboration with staff to deliver HEPA-compliant activities and community engagement. Competitive hourly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 2 years’ experience working in a childcare setting.
• Ability to obtain Criminal Record Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing childcare programs (Before-School, After-School, Summer Camp, and School Break Care).
• Supervise children according to licensing guidelines (1:14 to 1:20).
• Support the Program Director in planning and administration of the program.
