Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to identify, equip and lead a team of volunteers.
• Active participant of a local evangelical church with growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Certified in Infant/Child CPR (or willing to obtain certification).
• Must complete a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care for children from infant through 5th grade during designated events.
• Provide dependable, safe and secure care following Brentwood Baptist Church policies.
• Engage children in organized activities using age-appropriate songs, stories, lessons and crafts.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the childcare environment and understand emergency plans.
