Job summary

Brentwood Baptist Church is seeking a Childcare Worker to care for children from infants through 5th grade during church events and programs. The role requires maintaining a safe and engaging environment, following safety policies, and coordinating activities with volunteers.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old, have or be willing to obtain Infant/Child CPR certification, pass a background check, and demonstrate strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Certified Infant/Child CPR (or willingness to obtain)
• Able to lift and move children
• Background check required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Active participant of a local evangelical church and growing relationship with Jesus Christ

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care for children from infant through 5th grade during designated events or church programming.
• Maintain safe, dependable, and secure environment; ensure safety and cleanliness of childcare area.
• Engage children with age-appropriate activities, songs, stories, and crafts.
• Follow Brentwood Baptist Church safety and security policies; know and implement emergency plans.
• Use positive discipline and maintain order; supervise volunteers and coordinate activities.
