Job summary

Discovery Point Lexington Oaks is seeking a Childcare Lead Teacher to plan lessons and guide young learners according to our approved curriculum, aiming to promote social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth in a safe, nurturing environment. You will lead classroom staff, maintain a daily schedule, uphold state licensing rules, and communicate with families to build positive relationships.

Compensation ranges $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow within our caring

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required.
• Must be able to meet all state requirements for a lead teacher.

Role: Childcare Lead Teacher

As a Discovery Point Childcare Lead Teacher, you will plan lessons and instruct children in activities according to the approved curriculum designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment. In addition, you will promote and participate in all center functions, communicate with and develop positive relationships with all family members.
