Job summary

High Pointe Academy in Castle Pines, CO is looking for energetic, nurturing Lead Pre-K and Preschool Teachers to join our Universal PreK Program. We offer a welcoming learning environment where imagination grows and young learners build skills.

Compensation: $19.00-$23.00/hr based on education and experience. Shift: Mon - Fri, Full Time. We provide paid trainings, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k with match, and discounts for childcare.

Qualifications

• Meet CDEC requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher.
• Experience with preschoolers, ages 3–5.
• Pass background checks, fingerprinting, and licensing.
• Complete UPK professional development on schedule.
• Familiar with Colorado Shines, PDIS, and assessment practices.
• Support diverse developmental and learning needs.
• Previous Colorado UPK or preschool classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pre-K and preschool instruction in UPK program.
• Maintain compliance with UPK requirements and training.
• Collaborate with team to support children's development.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.

• Meet Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher and applicable Colorado UPK teacher qualifications.
• Have experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably ages 3–5.
• Meet all background check, fingerprinting, and licensing requirements.
• UPK ( Universal Pre-K)-Specific Requirements
• Meet applicable Colorado UPK teacher qualification standards.
• Complete required UPK professional development and training within established timelines.
• Maintain compliance with Colorado UPK program requirements and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Previous experience in a Colorado UPK or preschool classroom.
• Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or approved credential.
• Familiarity with Colorado Shines, PDIS, and early childhood assessment practices.
• Experience supporting diverse developmental and learning needs.
