Job summary

KinderCare in Suwanee, GA is seeking a center kitchen staff member to help maintain safe and hygienic kitchen operations, handle food orders, and support daily center duties. You will work closely with center leadership to meet licensing requirements and contribute to enrollment and engagement goals.

Ideal candidates have experience with children, food handling, and the ability to follow menus and measure portions, with a valid Food Handler’s license or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Familiarity with accurate conditions and food storage; understanding food allergies.
• Ability to follow nutritious menus and prepare foods for the center population.
• Basic math skills for measuring and portions.
• Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies.
• Dispense and store medication, as requested.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation according to KinderCare and licensing requirements.
• Help with and take on responsibility in other daily center duties.
• Support center success by partnering with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
