Job summary

The Goddard School in Goddard, KS is seeking an Infant and Toddler Teacher to provide nurturing, safe care and development-focused activities for infants and toddlers. You will foster emotional and physical milestones in a collaborative classroom, under supportive guidance and a positive team environment.

You will design age-appropriate experiences, track daily routines and progress, and work closely with families to share insights while maintaining a clean, well-supplied learning space.

• Maintain accurate records of routines, progress, and health updates.
• Foster positive behavior and emotional regulation with parents and guardians.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, language development, and social interaction
• Maintain accurate records of each child's daily routines, developmental progress, and health updates
• Foster positive behavior management strategies that encourage independence and emotional regulation
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to share insights on each child's progress and address any concerns
• Ensure the classroom environment is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to support learning and safety
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and infection control measures
• Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred
