Child Development Schools is seeking a Cook for our Westside Blvd location in Pooler, GA. You will prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, follow CACFP guidelines, and ensure kitchen safety and cleanliness.

You will manage meal timing for multiple classrooms, coordinate with center leadership, and support staff as needed. A high school diploma or GED and a food handler's permit are required; background check clearance is also needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background check clearance required.
• Valid food handler's permit or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Experience in food preparation or food service preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children per CACFP guidelines.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation, storage procedures, and safety standards.
• Accommodate dietary restrictions for enrolled children.
• Track meal counts, inventory, and communicate needs to center leadership.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Support classroom staff during non-kitchen hours as needed.
