Job summary

The Nest School is hiring a full-time Cook to prepare nutritious meals for children and manage kitchen operations on-site in Newnan, GA. The role emphasizes safety, menu planning, and collaboration with staff to support a healthy, fun learning environment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of nutrition-focused kitchen experience, strong time-management, and excellent communication. A State Food Manager License or willingness to obtain is required.

Responsibilities

• Planning and posting menus for children ensuring awareness of food allergies.
• Maintaining inventory for food and kitchen supplies to prepare nutritional meals for children.
• Distributing meals to classrooms maintaining sanitary conditions and standards.
• Ensuring overall sanitation of the kitchen, storage, and meal prep areas.
• Properly recording and reporting meals served.
