Job summary

Discovery Point in Florida is seeking a Cook to prepare meals and snacks for children enrolled in the center. You will ensure meals are ready at scheduled times and served according to the approved menu, following proper health and safety practices.

You may assist in classrooms when needed and will work to meet CACFP standards where applicable, with training provided for food service certification, CPR, Fire Safety and Nutrition.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Training in food service certification may be provided.
• Training in CPR, Fire Safety and Nutrition may be provided.
• Must be able to meet all state requirements for Childcare Cook.
