Job summary

Radcliffe Learning Center is a licensed childcare center seeking a Cook/Dietary Aide to join our family-oriented team. The role supports nutritious meals, kitchen cleanliness, and inventory management in a childcare setting.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED and a Serve Safe certificate, with background checks required. Compensation is $15 per hour, based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals meeting program requirements.

• Assist in classrooms as needed and support staff during breaks.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, Serve Safe certificate, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience! Required Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:00pm. Compensation: $15 per hour, based on education and experience.

Our Hiring Process:

• On-site interview with Center Director (30-45 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing nutritious well-balanced meals, that meet food program requirements for items served.
• Oversee the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen.
• Manage monthly inventory on non-food items, such as cups, plates etc. as well as all food items needed for the food service order; disperse groceries, food service, and paper supply order to appropriate areas of the building.
• Request items within budget for additional equipment needed to help maintain the kitchen and mealtimes on track and turn in request to the Center Director.
• Assist in the classrooms as needed by relieving teachers for breaks and being an additional support resource.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
