Job summary

SW Learning Center is seeking a friendly and reliable Childcare Classroom Assistant to support our childcare program in Vancouver, WA. You will work with lead teachers to implement daily activities and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for children from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

We value teamwork, punctuality, and strong communication. Must meet Washington licensing requirements or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must meet Washington State childcare licensing requirements (or be willing to obtain).
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
• Support the supervision and safety of children at all times.
• Help implement age-appropriate activities, play, and learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assist with meals, snacks, and transitions throughout the day.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Follow all licensing regulations and center policies.
