The Learning Experience is seeking an Executive Center Director in Illinois to lead a childcare center, ensuring top-tier educational experiences and compliant operations. You will oversee staff recruitment, training, and day-to-day management to deliver a nurturing learning environment.

You will drive enrollment, retention, and quality, while managing financials, payroll, and partnerships with families and the community.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a child care center.
• Ability to lead, train, and coach staff.
• Familiar with health, safety, and licensing standards.
• Proven ability to drive enrollment and family retention.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with a passion for children and staff.
• Ensure center health and safety SOPs and licensing compliance.
• Build and maintain a qualified staff through sourcing, training, and coaching.
• Guide teachers implementing curriculum and engaging learning.
• Drive business results: enrollment growth, retention, and payroll management.
• Handle AR/AP, monthly P&L, and financial operations.
• Coordinate center tours and community events to raise enrollment.

Executive Center Director at The Learning Experience, You Will:

• Lead by example, displaying a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees. Create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity, easily connecting with diverse groups of people.
• Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
• Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
• Guide our teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, leveraging your passion for learning. Take advantage of our engaging characters to drive the curriculum, creating a fun and enriching learning experience at TLE.
• Drive consistent business results, measured through family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations. Manage accounts receivable and payable, generate monthly P&L reports, and oversee employee payroll.
• Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program. Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
