Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students in the Raleigh area and to support classrooms as needed. You will work with the Lead Teacher to create a warm, engaging learning environment and communicate regularly with families to ensure safety and growth.

The role involves maintaining safety, following licensing ratios, and participating in ongoing professional development while enjoying a 14–16 USD per hour pay scale and a comprehensive

• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports
• Maintain a safe Bus environment

Job description

Your role

As a Bus Driver at Child Development Schools, you will support our center by providing safe, reliable transportation for our students to and from school and/or activities. You may also be supporting classrooms, working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What your day looks like:

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements

Pay and benefits

Pay: 14-16 per hour, based on experience and education.
