Job summary

Child Development Schools in Benson, NC seeks a dedicated Bus Driver to ensure safe, reliable transport for students to and from school and activities. You will also support classrooms alongside the Lead Teacher, helping create a warm, curious, and nurturing learning environment.

In this role you engage with children during daily routines, communicate with families, maintain a clean bus, and document attendance and daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Provide on time, safe and reliable transportation for our Before and After School programs
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports
• Maintain a safe Bus environment

Your role

As a Bus Driver at Child Development Schools, you will support our center by providing safe, reliable transportation for our students to and from school and/or activities. You may also be supporting classrooms, working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What your day looks like:

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements

Pay and benefits

Pay: 14-16 per hour, based on experience and education.
