Job summary

The Learning Experience - Canton, OH is seeking an Assistant Center Director to join a fast-growing academy of early education. You will lead by example, ensure health and safety compliance, recruit and coach staff, and guide teachers in delivering the proprietary curriculum.

You will also engage prospective families through tours and community events. Ideal candidates have daycare/preschool leadership experience, a state credential, and a bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field.

Qualifications

• One or more years of center leadership/management experience is highly preferred.
• Hold the state-specific Administrative or Director credential and follow licensing rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, displaying passion for making a positive impact on children and staff.
• Ensure the center environment complies with health, safety SOPs and licensing rules.
• Source, train, coach, and engage with current and prospective employees.
• Guide teachers in implementing the proprietary curriculum and engage families.
• Organize tours and community events to promote enrollment and awareness.

We are currently seeking a passionate individual with daycare or preschool experience to join our team as an Assistant Director.

As an Assistant Center Director at The Learning Experience, You Will:

• Lead by example, displaying passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees. Create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity, easily connecting with diverse groups of people.
• Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
• Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
• Guide our teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, leveraging your passion for learning. Take advantage of our engaging characters to drive the curriculum, creating a fun and enriching learning experience at TLE.
• Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program. Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
