Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Bus/Van Childcare Driver to transport children and nursing staff to and from the Pediatric Day Health Center in Harrisburg, PA. This part-time, daytime role offers split shifts and no nights or weekends.

The driver will perform safety checks, maintain the vehicle, and build rapport with families as part of a multidisciplinary care team. CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Driver’s License with an acceptable MVR.
• Prior transportation or delivery experience preferred, but not required.
• Current CPR Certification (can be obtained during orientation).
• Friendly, reliable, and committed to safety and teamwork!

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children (ages birth to 8 years) and nursing staff to and from the center.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance and safety checks before and after each trip.
• Ensure children are secure and comfortable during transit.
• Build positive relationships with families, staff, and kiddos.
• Serve as an important member of our multidisciplinary care team.
