Inspire Early Education in Marlton, NJ is seeking a part-time Childcare Bus Driver to transport children safely to and from the center. You will be responsible for pre-trip inspections and ensuring child safety equipment is secured. You must have a valid CDL with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Valid CDL with passenger endorsement (Required).
• Clean driving record with no accidents or traffic violations (Required).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude and passion for working with children.
• Ability to pass background and health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the childcare center's bus or vehicle to transport children to and from the center, ensuring the well-being of each child during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Strictly adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including ensuring that children are secured in appropriate child safety seats and seat belts.
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies during transit, including administering first aid if necessary, and evacuate children safely in case of accidents.
• Maintain open and clear communication with parents or guardians regarding pick-up and drop-off times, and any changes or delays in the schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of daily transportation, including attendance, mileage, and fuel usage.
