Inspire Marlton is seeking a safety‑mocused transportation driver to transport children to and from the center. You will perform pre‑trip inspections, follow all regulations, and maintain open communication with parents regarding schedules and changes.

The role requires a valid CDL with passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to meet health and background checks. This full‑time position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Safely transport children to and from the center by bus or vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Respond to emergencies during transit and administer first aid if needed.
• Communicate schedule changes and pickup/drop-off times with parents.
• Maintain daily transportation records (attendance, mileage, fuel).

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate the childcare center's bus or vehicle to transport children to and from the center, ensuring the well-being of each child during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Strictly adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including ensuring that children are secured in appropriate child safety seats and seat belts.
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies during transit, including administering first aid if necessary, and evacuate children safely in case of accidents.
• Maintain open and clear communication with parents or guardians regarding pick-up and drop-off times, and any changes or delays in the schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of daily transportation, including attendance, mileage, and fuel usage.

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement (Required).
• Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations (Required).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and passion for working with children
• Ability to pass background and health requirements
