Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students and support classroom activities alongside the Lead Teacher. You will engage with children, observe progress, and communicate with families in a caring, supportive environment.

The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and collaboration within our teaching team, with benefits including health coverage, retirement options, and tuition support for employees and their children.

Qualifications

• A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education and prior experience in a licensed childcare center are a plus, but not required.
• We hire characters and train for skill.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Provide on time, safe and reliable transportation for our Before and After School programs
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports
• Maintain a safe Bus environment

Childcare Center Bus Driver

Your role

As a Bus Driver at Child Development Schools, you will support our center by providing safe, reliable transportation for our students to and from school and/or activities. You may also be supporting classrooms, working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What your day looks like:

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements

Pay and benefits

Pay: $13-$15 per hour, based on experience and education.
