Job summary

The City of Greeley seeks a Childcare Attendant at the Greeley Recreation Center to supervise and engage children aged 6 months to 9 years, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming space. You will lead games, check in/out children, and support families during their visits.

Requirements include at least one year of childcare and customer service experience, a high school diploma, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months). Some local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of caring for children in a public setting is required.
• One year of customer service experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for and monitor children in the childcare room.
• Provide a safe and fun environment and lead activities.
• Check children in/out and maintain cleanliness of the area.
• Develop positive relations with members and guests using the service.
