The Childcare Attendant attends to children aged 6 weeks to 8 years old in the YMCA's drop-in childcare program.

Salary range starts at $16.20 per hour, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Scope of Responsibilities:

1. Implement daily programs with developmentally appropriate activities, collaborating with peers to supervise children.
2. Supervise and lead activity areas.
3. Assist in planning and preparing activities.
4. Organize and set up materials and supplies.
5. Sanitize toys and equipment.
6. Maintain a safe play environment.
7. Support YMCA mission and center operations as needed.
8. Ensure proper child-to-staff ratios.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior experience working with children.
2. Passion for and commitment to the YMCA's mission and vision.
3. Ability to build rapport with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
4. Demonstrated YMCA team competencies.

Child Abuse Prevention:
