Job description

The Childcare Attendant's primary job is to ensure the safety and security of all children while in the childcare so that their parents, who are our members and guests, can exercise knowing their most valuable assets are in great hands.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality care for children in a defined area of the gym for the attending members and guests.
2. Greet and properly check-in all members and guests.
3. Maintain a sanitary environment by thoroughly cleaning toys, counters, tables, and floors.
4. Interact with the children in a positive and age-appropriate manner.
5. Maintain order and a controlled environment to ensure safety in the childcare room.
6. Keep security records on individual children, ensuring that all children have a registration form on file.

Job Qualifications:

1. High school diploma and/or work experience in a daycare/childcare environment is a plus.
2. Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification required within 90 days of employment.
3. Excellent communication skills with adults and children.
4. Ability to kneel, get up and down off the floor, and pick up babies and toddlers up to 30 pounds.
