Job summary

Child Development Schools in Villa Rica, GA is seeking an Assistant Teacher to help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working with the Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families and be part of a collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

Qualifications

• Assist in creating engaging learning experiences for young children.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
• Observe and document child progress and share with Lead Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $12.50 per hour, based on experience and education.
