Job summary

Discovery Point - Symmes & Summerfield is seeking a Childcare Lead Teacher to plan lessons and guide a classroom for 2-year-olds, promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in a safe, engaging environment.

You will collaborate with families and staff, ensure compliance with state licensing, CPR/Fire Safety training, and center policies, and contribute to a rewarding career path in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required.
• Must have CDA/degree in ECE.
• Must be able to meet all state requirements for a lead teacher.
• Must have previous experience working in a 2 year old classroom.

Role: Childcare Lead Teacher

As a Discovery Point Childcare Lead Teacher, you will plan lessons and instruct children in activities according to the approved curriculum designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment. In addition, you will promote and participate in all center functions, communicate with and develop positive relationships with all family members.

Childcare Lead Teacher Duties:
