Base pay range

$14.00/hr - $16.00/hr

Description

Springview Academy is a licensed childcare center seeking two Assistant Teachers to support the following age groups:

• Infants
• Toddlers
• All age groups
  
  

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, 18 years of age or older, must have 30 days of experience within a licensed childcare facility,and the ability to pass all background checks.

Required Shift: Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation: $14-$16 per hour, based on education and experience + Weekly Travel Stipend

Our Hiring Process

Main Job Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
