Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children and maintain a safe, clean environment
• Engage with children to support their development and participation
• Maintain records such as accident reports, attendance, and sign-in/out sheets
• Greet parents and children daily, addressing concerns appropriately
• Use positive guidance techniques and follow DHS procedures
• Provide for children's needs and ensure policy compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2,500 hours of childcare experience preferred
• 30 college credits in early childhood, elementary, or related human services
• 15 college credits and one year of related experience
• Current CDA certificate
• Up-to-date DHS file and certifications within 90 days of hire

Work Conditions & Physical Demands
