Overview

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is hiring for an Assistant Director. Base pay range: $18.00/yr - $20.00/yr. Compensation may vary based on education, experience, and credentials.

Responsibilities

• Help manage the daily operations of a childcare school, ensuring state licensing requirements and company policies are met.
• Perform administrative duties, give tours to families, maintain records, ensure compliance, and help keep operations running smoothly.
• Partner with families to provide the best care and education for children.
• Support teachers in implementing the curriculum and creating developmentally appropriate classrooms.
• Nurture positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing representatives, and the community.
• Work in the classroom when needed to assist and support staff.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of an associate\'s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
• EDU119 or equivalent and Admin 1 & 2 coursework or equivalent is required
• At least 6 months experience managing a licensed childcare center
• Proficient computer skills in a variety of business-related programs, including Microsoft Office
• At least 21 years old
• A passion for providing high-quality care and education
