Job summary

LITTLE SCHOLARS ACADEMY in Minnesota is seeking a Childcare Aide to join our caring team and support young learners. You will assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities, help children with learning, play, meals, and transitions, and maintain a safe and organized space for all children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before start date).
• Must meet Minnesota DHS aide requirements.
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers preferred.
• Patient, nurturing, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities.
• Support children with learning, play, meals, and transitions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
• Supervise children to ensure safety at all times.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Follow center policies and Minnesota licensing guidelines.
