Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois is seeking a full-time Child Welfare Supervisor in Marion, IL, to plan and coordinate child welfare services. This role requires a Master’s degree in social work, relevant experience, and state licensing.

The position offers a competitive salary between $80,000 to $92,000 annually and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, PTO, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or other related human services field required.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of progressive experience in social services required.
• State licensing/certification as required by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate CCS Programs.
• Supervise a unit of Child Welfare Specialists and/or Assistants.
• Provide training and feedback to assigned staff.
• Ensure productivity requirements are met.
