Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work with one year of social work experience or
• Bachelor's degree in social work with two years of social work or counseling experience or
• Master's in a counseling field with two years of social work/counseling experience or
• Four-year degree in human services or related field with three years of social work/counseling experience or
• Equivalent combination of training and experience; one year of work experience can be credited for completion of the social work collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Provide protective, investigative, counseling, and case management services for at-risk children.
• Investigate and assess alleged abuse, neglect, or dependency within required legal timeframes.
• Offer services to involuntary clients and provide expert testimony in court when required.
• Maintain detailed case records and prepare statistical reports.
• Engage in relationship building within the organization to achieve objectives.
