Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida, Inc. is seeking an experienced Child Welfare Assistant Program Director to oversee Case Management units and support the Program Director in achieving contractual goals.

The role requires active Child Welfare certification, a Bachelor's in Human Services, and at least 5 years in related work with 3 years in supervision. Strong leadership, analytics, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services is required.
• Active Child Welfare certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of job-related experience and 3 years supervisory experience.
• Must demonstrate leadership and administrative abilities.
• Ability to interpret statistics to monitor contract performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operation of Case Management units to ensure client safety and contract goals.
• Staff assignments with Case Managers, Supervisors and Program Director as needed.
• Review case files and Home SafeNet notes for service effectiveness.
• Conduct bi-monthly supervision meetings with Supervisors.
• Participate in recruitment, hiring, and staff training.
