Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a credentialed social work professional in Kansas to conduct assessments, develop case plans, and coordinate services for children and families. You will engage with families, courts, and kinship or foster networks to achieve permanency goals.

The role requires on-call availability, travel within the state, and adherence to court protocols. A bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field and KS licensure preferred are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or human service field from an accredited college or university.
• Must pass drug screen, MVR, KBI, and background clearance checks.
• License to practice in the State of Kansas preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial and ongoing assessments by gathering information from children, families, and collaterals.
• Coordinates family meetings and develops case plans with permanency goals.
• Determines services needed for child and family, including mental health and safety services.
• Supports kinship and foster families to maintain placements toward permanency.
• On-call rotation with rapid response, documentation, and travel as needed.
