Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida is seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Case Manager to provide comprehensive wrap-around services for children and families. The role requires close collaboration with families, guardians ad litem, and service providers, ensuring timely case planning, safety assessments, and court involvement as needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in a Human Services field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year of relevant experience and be certified or certify within one year.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field required; Social Work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide wrap-around case management services and develop a case plan with families for reunification or permanency.
• Visit children in primary residence as required and document activities in FSFN within 48 hours.
• Coordinate with guardian ad litem, foster parents, and service providers to arrange referrals and supports.
• Prepare for and participate in court activities; complete required staffing and packets.
• Conduct safety assessments and arrange emergency placements or services as needed.
