The position requires a high school diploma, a minimum of two years’ experience in social services, and a reliable automobile with liability insurance. You will rotate schedules, transport clients to appointments, assist families with community resources, and maintain accurate case notes while supporting agency goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum two years of social service experience.
• Must have reliable automobile with liability insurance and a valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Rotate work schedule to meet program and client needs.
• Transport clients to appointments and visits as needed.
• Maintain knowledge through seminars and workshops.
• Contribute to planning and implementation of the agency social service plan.
• Perform home visits when assigned.
• Interpret guidelines to parents.
• Assist parents in utilizing community resources.
• Help prepare children for medical examinations.
• Help children receive follow-up care.
• Promote parental cooperation in client programs.
• Record and report data related to case records.
• Implement action plans for cases.
• Participate in other areas of casework as trained.
• Contact other social service agencies for referrals.
• Attend agency seminars to improve knowledge.
• Report case progress to supervisor and maintain records.
• Verify information provided by clients.
