YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is hiring a part-time Child Watch Attendant to help create a safe, engaging environment for children while parents work out.

You will supervise kids, lead fun activities, enforce safety rules, and communicate with guardians to ensure a positive experience for families.

• Experience with children in a childcare or similar setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training can be provided if necessary.
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual.

Join our dedicated team at the YMCA as a Child Watch Attendant and play a vital role in providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children while their parents or guardians enjoy their workout. We are seeking dependable and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to creating a positive experience for children and families.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience working with children in a childcare, babysitting, or similar setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain attentive, patient, and calm in a dynamic environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
