Job summary

The YMCA of Central Massachusetts is seeking a Child Watch Associate to supervise children aged 3 months to 12 years in a safe, upbeat environment. This part-time role supports the Youth & Family Services team and fosters a welcoming, responsible atmosphere.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, enforcing safety procedures, communicating with parents, and attending staff meetings. CPR/First Aid/AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire; prior child-care experience is

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Previous experience working with children preferred
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications required within 30 days of employment
• Previous experience with diverse populations preferred

Do you enjoy watching over children while creating a safe and fun atmosphere? Under the supervision of the Director of Youth & Family Services, the Child Watch Associate ensures the safety of all children in their care. This is the perfect job for moms, bring your little one with you while your older children are at school.

Essential Functions

• Supervise a group of children and program activities for children from 3 months old to 12 years old.
