Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Driver to safely transport staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other locations. You will ensure child safety during transport and support daily center operations in a team-focused environment.

This role requires a valid driver's license, flexibility in hours, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. CPR/First Aid is preferred, with English communication essential for interacting with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with no more than three moving violations in the past three years (no alcohol or drug-related convictions).
• At least 21 years of age and able to drive center vehicles.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to work flexible hours and assignments.
• Two years of experience transporting children preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other locations.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of children during transport as approved by the Center Director.
• Comply with KinderCare and governmental regulations regarding child care.
• Keep the Center Director informed of any information regarding care and safety.
• Assist with other daily center duties as needed.
• Transport center vehicle for servicing (oil changes, inspections).
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and center events.
