Our staff includes a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist, licensed clinical psychologists, school psychologist, social workers, licensed mental health counselor, and post-doctoral neuropsychology fellows.

Role Description

This is an independent contractor (1099) on-site role for a child therapist at Key Insights Neuropsychology and Counseling located in Glen Head, NY. An experienced and licensed therapist (LCSW, LMHC, or PhD) is preferred, but supervision and training can be provided toward licensure. Knowledge about play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, parent training, and collaborating with schools to treat neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions is required. It is necessary to work either afternoon, evening, or weekend hours. This is an ideal position for a child therapist looking to supplement a full-time job, an early career professional, or a professional re-entering the workforce who has the flexibility to slowly build a case-load over time. A minimum caseload of 3-5 patients is expected with room for steady growth if interested.
