Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a part-time Respite Care Provider to support a young boy in his home. Evenings 4pm–10pm (up to 10 hrs/week) with weekend overnight needs, offering hourly pay of $14.13 and overnight pay of $207.45.

Responsibilities include supervising the child, engaging in preferred activities, assisting with hygiene, preparing meals, and accompanying him on local outings. CPR and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
• Previous childcare experience is preferred.
• Pet friendly (family has an indoor cat).

• Provide close supervision in and outside of the home.
• Engage with child through his preferred activities.
• Encourage him to spend time out of the house (outings).
• Assist with hygiene (reminders to shower, assistance getting out of the shower).
• Prep meals if parents are away during meal times.
• Administer medication (if out of home during medication windows).
