Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Psychologist to conduct evaluations in homes and preschools across Ulster County, NY. The position offers part-time or potential full-time hours, with evaluations scheduled during or after school hours.

The role requires a Doctoral Degree in Psychology and NYS licensure or permit, plus relevant experience with children, autism, and preschool assessments. Compensation is per evaluation, with full-time benefits available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• NYS Licensed or Limited Permit Psychologist
• New York State School Psychologist Certificate
• Experience with autism spectrum
• Experience evaluating preschool age children
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting children and families
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages
• Utilize assessment tools such as Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence-Fourth Edition; Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development-Fourth Edition; Conners Early Childhood Behavior Rating Scales; BASC-3; Vineland Scales
• Write a comprehensive and clear diagnostic and psychological report
• Maintain positive communication between supervisors, employees and families
• Ensure compliance with government and agency regulations and standards
• Participate in meetings as needed
