Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a psychologist to perform evaluations in homes and preschools throughout Suffolk County, NY. The role can be part-time on a fee-for-service basis or potential full-time employment. Evaluations occur during and after school hours.

Compensation ranges from $200 to $250 per evaluation, with ongoing discussion of caseload and employment structure during interviews. Benefits are provided for full-time staff and a range of options are offered for part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology is required.
• Current NYS psychology license or limited permit is required.
• New York State School Psychologist certification is required.
• Experience evaluating children on the autism spectrum preferred.
• Experience evaluating preschool-age children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and collect developmental histories for children.
• Use standardized tools (WPPSI-IV, Bayley, Conners EC, BASC-3, Vineland) for assessments.
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, families and schools.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and participate in meetings as needed.
