Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a psychologist to conduct psychological evaluations for children in Ulster County. Evaluations occur in homes and preschools, with detailed reporting and collaboration with families and schools.

The role requires a Doctoral degree in psychology, NYS licensure or permit, and experience with children on the autism spectrum. Bilingual is a plus; full-time or part-time options available, with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology required.
• NYS licensed or limited permit psychologist required.
• Experience evaluating preschool children and those on the autism spectrum helpful.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages.
• Use standardized assessment tools to inform reports.
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, families, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Participate in meetings as needed.
