Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a Psychologist to perform evaluations in homes and preschools across Suffolk County, NY. The role includes using approved assessment tools, writing detailed reports, and coordinating with families and supervisors.

Qualifications include a NYS license (or limited permit), experience with autism, and a doctoral degree in psychology. Part-time or full-time options with benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology or equivalent.
• Licensed or limited permit in NYS.
• Experience evaluating children on the autism spectrum.
• Experience evaluating preschool age children.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence–Fourth Edition; Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development–Fourth Edition; Conners Early Childhood Behavior Rating Scales; BASC-3; Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales).
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain positive communication between supervisors, employees and families.
• Ensure compliance with government and agency regulations and operating standards.
