Job summary

Family of Kidz in Riverhead, NY seeks a Licensed Psychologist to perform psychological evaluations for children and support autism assessments. This role may be part-time on a fee-for-service basis or lead to full-time opportunities based on caseload.

Responsibilities include administering standardized assessments, writing comprehensive reports, and collaborating with treatment teams and families to design interventions.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Psychology and NYS licensure or permit.
• ADOS-2 training highly preferred.
• Experience evaluating children on the autism spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages.
• Conduct autism diagnostic evaluations for children of various ages.
• Utilize standardized tools such as ADOS-2, WISC, Bayley, Conners, BASC, Vineland.
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Provide recommendations and assist therapeutic teams in designing interventions.
• Participate in treatment, feedback and team meetings.
• Maintain positive communication between supervisors, employees and families.
• Ensure compliance with government and agency regulations and standards.
• Provide group and individual counseling/parent training as mandated by IEP.
• Participate in IEP Conferences and other meetings as needed.
