Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Psychologist to perform evaluations for children across the North Shore of Nassau County, NY. The role offers part-time (fee-for-service) or potential full-time opportunities, with hours available during and after school.

Responsibilities include conducting developmental assessments, writing reports, and maintaining communication with families and supervisors while adhering to relevant regulations. Benefits for full-time positions are extensive.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology and NYS licensure.
• Experience evaluating children on the autism spectrum.
• Experience evaluating preschool age children.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and histories for children of various ages.
• Administer standardized assessment tools (e.g., WPPSI-IV, Bayley-4, Conners ECI, BASC-3, Vineland-4).
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain positive communication with supervisors, families and clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and operating standards.
• Participate in meetings as needed.
