Family of Kidz in New York seeks a licensed psychologist to conduct evaluations for children in homes and preschools across Suffolk County. The role is part-time, with potential for full-time opportunities and fee-for-service compensation per evaluation.

Responsibilities include administering standardized assessments, writing clear diagnostic reports, and maintaining open communication with families and supervisors while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology and NYS licensure are required.
• Experience evaluating children, especially on the autism spectrum.
• Preschool evaluation experience is preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and histories for children of various ages.
• Administer standardized assessments listed above.
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain positive communication with supervisors, employees and families.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and operating standards.
• Participate in meetings as needed.
