Job summary

The Office of Shared Administration (WV) seeks an experienced Child Protective Service Supervisor to lead a team of CPS workers in Wayne. You will supervise ongoing cases, guide clinical decisions, mentor staff, and ensure high standards of child safety and family preservation.

This leadership role requires deep expertise in clinical social work, strong communication, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent experience in social services, probation and enforcement services, or community support and welfare services for adult and child protection.
• Additional education may substitute based on a year-for-year basis.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, and reviews the work of employees performing child protective services; supervises ongoing CPS cases.
• Oversees clinical decisions and ensures protective service standards are met.
• Mentors staff, coordinates with inter- and intra-governmental units and community partners.
