Qualifications

• MSW or equivalent social work training with relevant experience.
• BSW with at least two years in social work or counseling.
• MS in counseling or related field with two years experience.
• Four-year degree in human services with three years experience.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and assess reports of alleged child abuse, neglect, or dependency.
• Provide legally mandated, non-voluntary protective services to children and families.
• Collaborate with families, schools, medical and mental health professionals.
• Assist in temporary safety placements or removal of children when necessary.
• Perform backup CPS on-call duties on a rotating schedule.
